Brad Kuhl collects his imagery form television and movies, switching from channel to channel and movie to movie hunting for specific types of images. Kuhl is interested in “looking at television, not watching it”. Kuhl compiles his images into both printed and animated grids of images. Each moving image or grid is made up of smaller scenes – people on the phone – or a specific set of images.
