Dust off those jazz shoes…well, at least that’s what I’ll be doing. I took the plunge and signed up for the one day dance workshop on July 18 with pros from the national tour of A Chorus Line (coming July 7 to 19) through Dallas Summer Musicals at the Music Hall in Fair Park. Yes, a future blog on Art&Seek will detail the entire nerve-wracking experience of dancing on stage to tunes from my favorite musical of all time.
If you’re 12 and up with intermediate and advanced dance training (crossing fingers that the jazz classes I took in college will suffice) you can sign up for the workshop and learn choreography from the show taught by the cast members on the stage of the Majestic Theatre. Participants must wear appropriate dance attire.
Cost is $40, $10 to observe. Click here for full details on how to register by phone. Sources tell us that they are accepting only a limited number of attendees and spots are filling up quick!
