Notorious horror master, John Carpenter (“The Thing,” “Halloween,” “Escape from New York) performs at Dallas’ Majestic Theatre in “John Carpenter : Live Retrospective,” a concert featuring works from Carpenter’s movie scores alongside new solo works. Director, screenwriter, producer and composer, Carpenter composed or co-composed most of the music of his films. He released his first studio album, “Lost Themes,” in 2015, and “Lost Themes II” this last April. Joining John and the stage will be his son, and his “Lost Themes II” co-writer, Cody Carpenter. Cody’s composition credits include Showtime’s Masters of Horror series and NBC’s “Zoo.” The winner of this Big Deal will receive two tickets to attend the one-night only performance on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m.
